Dundas Dog Day – August 29 2026

Wednesday August 26 is International Dog Day…  On Saturday, August 29, we will celebrate the Dogs of Dundas and reclaim our sidewalks after that silly Cactus party!

Morning Pooch Parade
Time: 10AM
📍 Location: Meet at Grafton Square (2 King Street West)📍

Assemble the pack and we parade through Downtown Dundas – reclaiming our sidewalks after Cactus Festival and snagging treats, refreshments and pats along the way. We finish at the Cool Down/Splash Zone at Eccles Auto Service – with splash pools and photos ops

Afternoon Pooch Parade
Time: 2PM
📍 Location: Meet at Grafton Square (2 King Street West)

Assemble the pack and we parade through Downtown Dundas – reclaiming our sidewalks after Cactus Festival. We finish at the Cool Down/Splash Zone at Eccles Auto Service – with splash pools and photos ops

Dog-Friendly Patios
Time: all day
📍 Location: throughout Downtown Dundas.

So many great patios throughout Downtown Dundas – and your fur baby is welcome at most of them.

Cool Down/Splash Zone
Time: 10am-2PM
📍 Location: Near Eccles Auto Service (121 King Street West)

After a tough day parading through downtown, shopping, sniffing, and showing off… stop by our Splash Zone and frolick around in kiddie pools just for pups! Plus live DJ sets!

Fashions, Treats and beyond!
Time: all day
📍 Location: throughout Downtown Dundas.

Handmade, all-natural treats… one-of-a-kind doggie fashions and accessories… or a little something for the humans they love.. unique items await all though Downtown Dundas!
